Here is our little adventurer from the last couple of days. Jack had his first soccer game on Tuesday night. Their team lost, but I don't think anyone cared. He spent the whole time smiling! Wednesday night at Awanas, Jack said his memory verse, which was John 3:16 and in turn, earned his Sparks vest and moved to book 1! Life is so good for this little 5 year old! :)
He really likes standing in that position doesn't he? ;) I am happy to hear Jack is doing well. Eric is in Sparks too, but the games make him nervous. If he would just realize that he doesn't have to be scared it would be great, but for once he's not acting like the older-tougher kid, but like the smallest one there. It's weird I tell you. Jack must sleep well these days! How does Trevor do with Jack's full days? Do you guys watch soccer practice or go run errands?
ReplyDeleteJack has totally surprised me and LOVES the games! Runs right in there with no problems! Sounds like Eric and Jack switched mental places! LOL Trevor has been gone this week, but next week, Jeremy and I will either go together w/ Trevor or simply take turns. We will definetely do that for Awanas. We live to far away to go home during it. And yes, he does like that position--turning into a little show off! LOL
